Introducing Lounge Appeal’s POSH Chair

We’ve also included the sleek and stylish “POSH CHAIR” to our Royal Collection (seen above), that can add a touch of glamour to your upcoming event. We have translucent, opaque black and opaque white. This original chair design was from Philipe Starck who is widely known for his designs for the Italian manufacturer Kartell, who has a storefront on the well known Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles, many of which are made from polycarbonate plastic. These include the transparent Louis Ghost chair. When Clint and Kristy were on vacation in France, they were inspired by these simple, yet classic and posh designed chairs and decided to add them to inventory upon return to the states. We are calling them “posh” chairs. So, when you look to add your personal sense of style to your next event, think about incorporating some posh chairs into dining seating or into a lounge. Glittering Metallics define this year’s Holiday Season

“Metallic, shiny, translucent fabrics and colors create a glow and an aura of glamour that suits a fabulous lifestyle” Adele Mars, a buyer for Donna Karan NYC explains. Lounge Appeal incorporates this in the glamourous Royal Collection of furniture, beautifully styled together in a recent photoshoot in downtown San Diego, at the Culy Warehouse. Shown below is our Christmas table setting and furniture that creates a rich, warm atmosphere for holiday dining with loved ones. Tablescape desgned by Couture Events & Lounge Appeal.

The amazing concrete brick walls and wooden rafters of the Culy Warehouse allows for a nice contrast of a rustic setting for such glittering holiday decor. Deep red suede chaise lounges and ottomans combined with classic gold and accented with mirrored tables and cozy shag rugs create a luxurious holiday living room setting.

All the glitters certainly isn’t just gold, but the allure of metallics prove to be this season’s hot commodity from the Fall runways in the fashion captials of the world, Milan Paris and New York to the special event industry in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego. “Elle Tahari is synonymous with attention to detail, and this season is no different as we incorporate handcrafted metallic looks. metallics are a modern solution to dressing up,” Nancy Price, the Manager at the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace explains. For this photoshoot, we combined a high shine silver, glitter and crystals for a very Winter Wonderland look. Our “Snow Queens” wore white vintage fur coats (faux) and long, winter white gowns.

Metallic Glamour defines Warner Bros. recent backlot event and Lounge Appeal’s new Royal Collection

Gold and Silver Lamé fabrics, swovarski crystal tufting, stamped crocodile metallics and lots of mirrored tables completed the 2011 International Screenings Event hosted by Warner Bros. Studios and again produced by the amazing Hillary Harris and her team.

When grouping this furniture, add elements from the worlds of runway fashion and rock glam to complete a chic, edgy look.
Leather studs, mirrored or leather end tables, black chandeliers and canopies, and contemporary vases all work – nothing is too over-the-top when going glam!

The best thing about trendsetters is we all see the world differently. Even if you use the same elements as Hillary did, your glam rock look and endless Lounge Furniture possibilites with the Royal Collection will make your event cutting edge in the events industry and just so Diva Rock Glam! That’s what it’s all about! Embrace your individuality and your design will engage, delight and influence others.

Our favorite piece in this layout is the Queen Ottoman in stamped silver croc with swovarski crystal buttons and tufting. Lounge Appeal plans to add more of these ottomans into inventory very soon, in all colors, textures and with different detailing.

An intimate beach dinner at sunset with Lounge Apppeal’s Royal Collection

This was one of the most fun and creative photoshoots Lounge Appeal has done in a long time. Partering up with mastermind designer Vanessa Van Wieren of Alchemy Fine Events & Invitationswas a dream, as she created a beach chic tablescape that was both glamourous and natural.
Vanessa went straight to infamous designer Diane Von Furstenburg’s Home Collection for an eclectic mixture of solid, smooth, patterened and textured pieces in lamé, porcelin and wooden materials.

Gold metallic lamé “Majesty Thrones” and “Imperial bench” was showcased from Lounge Appeal’s Royal Collection, in addition to the foundation piece – the 8 foot long high gloss white “King’s Dining Table”.

Isari Flower Studio of Solana Beach created the gorgeous fuschia, scarlet and blushtone floral centerpieces, along with the mirrored accents and crystal candle holders. South Ponto Beach in Carlsbad served as the perfect backdrop to this sunset setup. Only thing needed is some champagne on ice, a few lobster tails and good friends and you have yourself the most memorable and fashionable beach dinner of your life!
